How To Find Keywords That Convert

In this keyword elite review I will tell you about my experience with keyword elite.

Is it good? will it make me any money?

When you first install and start up the program you will be prompted to enter the email address you ordered through. Every copy of keyword elite has a unique id.

This is to prevent illegal sharing of the program and your email is checked every-time you start keyword elite. You will also receive life long updates so your program is up to date with the latest changes in the search engines.
The first screen

At the first screen you will be prompted to choose one of the 5 following projects. They are called projects but I call them options, so here are the 5 options you can use:

1. Create a keyword list

2. Analyse pay per click listings

3. Select a keyword list

4. Analyse keyword competition

5. Spy on AdWords competition

Create a keyword list

This is the option that I use the most. it is what the headline says, you will create a keyword list.

In keyword elite you will be able to choose to return between 100 to 10000 keywords.

But first type in the keyword you wish get more suggestions of. Then choose were you want to get you results from. You can choose to retrieve keywords from all of the options if you wish to do so but it will take more time to find all the keywords.

You can choose to get your keywords from:

Ask.com

Overture

Google suggestion tool

Meta tags

Yahoo!

Misspelled keywords

Word-tracker (Optional if you have an account at wordtracker.com)

Keyword Discovery (Also optional if you have an account at keyworddiscovery.com)

Now what this means to you is this:

All the other keyword tools choose to get their data from overture or/and Google suggestion tool. Almost every other keyword tool uses only overture. Only a few uses Google.

This is good news to you. While almost everybody else choose to get their keywords from overture, you can get keywords from 7 different places.

The keywords from ask.com will not be used by many, which means that you can discover keywords that has no or little competition.

Analyse pay per click listings

I haven’t used this option as much as the “Create keyword list” option. But this is basically a option if you want to see how many ads a certain keyword has and what the ads are advertising, how much you have to pay for the no 1. position, how many clicks you can expect to get from that keyword.

Simply enter the keyword you wish to analyze, then check which search engines you wish to analyze. You can analyze:

* Google
* Yahoo!
* Miva
* Enhance

Then you choose which info you want. Just check any of the boxes to include:

* KEI (Keyword effectiveness index). It means that many people are searching for a keyword but there aren’t many pages in Google that are indexed under that keyword. Basically if a keyword has a high KEI, above 400 it will be a good keyword to advertise under.

* Top bids – see what the top bids are

* Title results – see which title the ads advertising under that keyword has

* Anchor Results – see which anchor text the ads advertising under that keyword has. (The Http:/www.somesite.com is the anchor text)
* Text results – See what the ad-text are saying.

After that hit enter and keyword elite starts to obtain your data.

Select a keyword list

I actually discovered this option a couple days ago. Keyword elite has a database with over 2 million keywords phrases.

Lets say you want to market a fishing rod (I actually searched for this one). Keyword elite have list with keywords that are connected to the keyword. In the fishing rod example, keyword elite returned keywords of fishing rod brands and models.

This is very valuable. These keyword lists aren’t used by many because many use the “live” search.

All the keywords in the fishing rod example had little or no competition.

So can you make money with this?

You Bet!

No competition on many of these keywords = easy pickins..

Comment: This option is underestimated. I will start using it more that’s for sure.

Analyze keyword competition

This option allows you to see how many websites that are competing under a certain keyword.

I don’t know how much you will use this option. i think its manly for people who wants to check competition before competing for a good position at Google or yahoo.

Spy on AdWords competition

You can check which keywords a competitor are advertising under.

You simply enter the url of the website your competitor are advertising under and then hit enter. Keyword elite will then begin to check which of the keywords that your competitor are advertising under.

This gives you an advantage over your competitors because you know which keywords they are advertising under.

You can also check how long they have advertised under that keyword. If they have advertised under a keyword for a long time, they are likely earning money under that keyword too.

Keyword elite flaws

No one can be perfect and its true in this case too.

First:

Keyword elite is slow. When you make your keyword lists it takes time. Be sure not to choose to return too many keyword results.

When i do my keyword searches i get about 1000 keywords in about an hour. I get more variations that i normally would do with an other keyword tool but it takes time to get keywords.

Second:

You can only get suggestions for one keyword at the time. You cant have multiple options running at the same time as well. You can however check which keywords the program finds real time.

I would have liked to see a multiple projects at the same time feature, but again thats just me.

(Tip)

Remember to save your project before going to the next step. You can then just open your saved keyword list and choose another set of keywords.

Conclusion:

Keyword elite is among the top keyword tools despite the few flaws.

This tool is excellent if you do adsense, SEO or PPC. However I wouldn’t recomend it if you do BUM marketing or article marketing like me. It is a little too detailed for that.
