Keyword Elite is a software tool by Brad Callen, a highly respected marketer and SEO expert. I like the tools he has developed, for example SEO Elite, HyperVRE etc.

Keyword Elite is not cheap. At $176, it is considered an expensive piece of software therefore I feel it is important to give an unbiased and honest keyword elite review.

Forget the hype that comes with keyword elite. It is important to know what it does and whether is it good at it. I’ve been using keyword elite for more than 6 months and honestly, I can say it is the one of the best investment I have made this year.

There are 5 main options in Keyword Elite when you first open up.

1. Analyze PPC Listing

As the name sounds, it allows you to monitor your competitors PPC listing over a period of time. It can gather data from adwords, yahoo search marketing, enhance and miva. It can allow you to see top bid prices, number of competitors in each search engines.

If you are a power PPC user, then you absolutely need to have this tool. It’s awesome.

2. Create A Keyword List

This option in keyword elite allows you to build a keyword list up to 10,000 in one session. You can edit, append, delete to the keyword list found by Keyword Elite.

For SEO and adsense marketers, this can save you a ton of time in digging for keywords.

3. Select Keyword List

This option in keyword elite allows you to select a pre-existing keyword list by Keyword Elite in-built database of keywords. I don’t use this option because first, the keyword data is outdated and limited and second, you can use option 2 to pull fresh and updated keywords from the search engines.

4. Analyse Keyword Competition

This option is mainly for SEO and bum marketing marketers. It analyses the top 10 ranking in the organic search results for each major search engine.

You can analyse a top ranking site or webpage and keyword elite will show you the important on-page and offpage SEO factors such as H1 tag, title tag, backlinks, anchor text link linking to this webpage etc.

5. Spy On Adwords Competition

This option allows you to track an url so you know how it is performing on adwords.

When I first brought keyword elite, there were some bugs in the software. Brad Callen constantly issues updates and patches to fix these problems. Although there are still some minor problems that need to be fixed, in my opinion, it is still one of the best keyword tools out there
