You have started into online Marketing or have been active for a long time. An easy way to keep track of visits to your landing pages is to use Tr.im  http://tr.im/ … This nice utility allows abbrevaited URL’s like mine

www.TimeToGetYours.com/?t=Trim     becomes    http://tr.im/uEer

Go ahead and try them both, they resolve to the same place.. If you are using Twitter and need to save characters or maybe you don’t want someone to know the actual address, Tr.im does the job!

One additional benefit is that Tr.im also keeps a count of every time that link is used. This means that for no cost you can track the number of peole that are visiting your site. This does not count leads or conversions, but actual hits on your landing page.. You can also sort this information and stats by any date range. Very useful!

If you have something that you want to track that is a special time period or promotion, just add a new trim to your list for the same landing page and make the original URL a bit different as in ….. www.TimeToGetYours.com/?t=Trim_Easter
