You can earn money for yourself simply by blogging. Below are the step by step guides you can follow to successfully turn your blog from a content site to a money making machine for you, just by working some few hours daily.

Choose a niche
Think about what you know very well and what you can do it properly. Are you very familiar with fishing, hunting, and gardening etc? I believe every human being has one or two things which they can do very well. Everyone has a talent or area of expertise. After you have discovered what niche you want to get into and you are quite sure that you can create many articles about it. Move over to the next step.

Keyword research – title of your blog
Make a proper selection of the keyword you want to use for your niche. The fastest way to get the best out of this is simply to use a keyword research tool and find out what people are searching for in that your niche. Use that keyword as a title and write content about it. It will also be nice if you look for long tail keywords under the keyword you used for your blog title. Setting up a blog
You can either choose to use a free blog or you can get your own paid blog. But I suggest you start with a paid blog, but if you don’t have any money to invest, you can as well use a free blog. Get a free blog at blogger or wordpress. Blogger is easy to use; even if you are a novice you can create a blog using it in a matter of minutes.

If you chose to get a paid blog, you can get a domain name with a web host. I suggest you go for a web hosting with “fantastico”. Fantastico is a program which has network of programs which you can easily install with a click of a mouse. You can easily install wordpress.org by visiting your fantastico page without any technical experience.

Posting your contents
After you have created your own blog, the next step is to start posting your contents. Select a searchable title; write an article using that title. Make sure you scatter varieties of keywords that pertain to the title of the article all over your content especially opening and closing paragraphs, but keep it to limit so you won’t be penalized for keyword abuse. Remember if you must get organic traffic from sources such as search engines, you need to have a keyword rich article. By now you already know that it is through keywords that people who make searches at search engines can use to find your blog. Make each post a minimum of 250 words and a maximum of 5000 words. Don’t forget to include a picture which describes what you have written about.

Monetizing your blog
Here comes the part you must have been expecting. You can either add google adsense or affiliate programs on your blog. I guess you know what google adsense is all about but if you don’t know; it is an advertising program run by google. They give you the opportunity to add their ad code to your blog, that code will be able to display ads which match whatever your blog is all about based on the tags on your site. If you choose to use affiliate programs then the easiest option you can find would be eBay or Amazon products. Sign up for these programs and start advertising other product on your site.
