Web Page Design
All successful web page designers and web design experts want have the same ideas when it comes to your website design however, they will agree on the fact that your design needs to be professional and interesting to your website visitors. Of course, there are some fundamental things that need to be included in a business or corporate website or web page design.
Call to Action
The best websites get to the point without happy talk and focus on helping people complete key tasks as quickly as possible.
People don’t have time to hunt for information or a link, they scan pages looking for what it is you can do for them. It’s crucial that you get site visitors to act. Now!
You’ve got 3 seconds to tell me what your site is about, 10 seconds to tell me what you can do for me and 20 seconds to tell me how I can contact you or purchase your product.
Design a Logo
The logo is one of the first things that people see when they enter your site. For that reason, you must cause a good impression at first sight. You should make it simple but original so that many like it. For that reason, you can consider a number of logo options and the input of your friends and colleagues to design the perfect logo. You may narrow it down a little bit or simplify it depending on the things that people told you.
Use a comprehensible language
Your contents should not be complex to read. Instead, you have to make your texts readable so that people do not get stressed with your style. To simplify your text does not mean that you have to break your text into information chunks or small paragraphs. People usually skip texts that do not go directly to the point.
Text size matters for many readers
It is important to consider the text size you use. Consider that many people do not enjoy small letters that are difficult to read. In this respect, you may use larger text for all your visitors to read comfortably. Moreover, you may headline key points in your text so that the main concepts and words can be clearly identified.
Visitors won’t stick with your website
Your website should be easy to navigate. It is always better to leave something out for the sake of simplicity. Surely, visitors won’t insist on your website if they find something difficult do though it.
Use clear photos and icons
Your website must contain uncluttered photographs and icons so that they do not interfere with the functioning and appearance of your site. You should know that not all the photos you like are proper for your website. Just as your text, photographs must be easy to place and should give priority to your background.
Respect your visitors’ confidence
People may get a little uncomfortable when they visit a website that asks them for personal information. People just want to pick up some information and leave and they are not thinking about giving their e-mail address or to sign up.
Give visitors a reason to submit their personal information
You may offer an e-book or something similar to people in exchange for personal information. The “gift” you offer to your visitors should pertain to the subject of your website or business.
Discover new hot stuff
Do not blow out your mind thinking about a good strategy. Instead, take some time to look at the things that are already working. Find effective and proper stuff for your website by observing others, this way you can stop wasting time in reinventing the wheel.
