Imaged Between Adsense Ads Warned

Google has recently change their rules for not lining up images and Adsense ads that in a way relationship between the images and the ads. In case you still not aware of this, a popular wordpress plugin for Adsense called “Adsense Beautifier” is now became a history accordingly to the clarification of adsense ad and image placement from Google Adsense.

We ask that publishers not line up images and ads in a way that suggests a relationship between the images and the ads. If your visitors believe that the images and the ads are directly associated, or that the advertiser is offering the exact item found in the neighboring image, they may click the ad expecting to find something that isn’t actually being offered. That’s not a good experience for users or advertisers. – Google said!

Publishers should also be careful to avoid similar implementations that people could find misleading. For instance, if your site contains a directory of Flash games, you should not format the ads to mimic the game descriptions.

The Adsense beutifier wordpress plugin automatically inserted unrelavent images next to ads in order to make your ad more outstanding to draw your visitor attention to them. No doubt we can increase CTR, but Google Adsense has now rules these WRONG as mentioned above. here is the 2 examples of Adsense Beautifier image will appear if you are using it for your adsense ad.

Again, this does not means we can not putting any image beside Google Adsense ad. Google does also explain that – we can definitely place Google adsense ad on pages containing image – just to make sure that the adsense ads and image are not arranged in a way that could easily mislead or confuse your visitor to click on it as this is not fair to their Adword Advertisers.

No doubt, images can influence people to click on ads that they might not want to. But adsense publishers have been using images totally unrelated to their ads for decades to influence people to click on the ad.

My personally advice to you is to remove Adsense beautifier plugin from your wordpress or you will warned by Google.
