Does search engine index everything for your blog, don’t they? If you have been blogging for while, you should realized that NOT all your blog pages will be index by search engine especially when you are running an automated blog.

Here is the snapshot from the google webmaster tool for some of my students blogs, as you can see there are only about 50% ~70% of their blog posts been index by the Goolge search engine. The rest will be wasting of their effort because those non-indexed pages will not help us in term of getting link or driving free traffic to our blog from natural search engine either.

It seems the whole world is blogging these days – the internet has millions of new personal blogs added to it every day covering every imaginable subject. The speed at which blogging has spread makes it seem like it has been around for as long as the internet (which is now 40 years old) but, as a matter of fact, they have been around for a little over 10 years. Blogs, or web logs to give them their full name, began in the late 1990s as posts of personal information and opinions by individuals – thus the term “log” as in log book or record. Early blogs were personal blogs that were posted by people who had something to say or an opinion to express and found that the internet was the medium that gave them the widest reach.
